What SerenDipity collects · 收集哪些数据

Public Profile — name, school, city, role, bio, what you are looking for.
Visible to other verified members.

Hidden Signals — your answers to the Concierge interview and what you share in
the Concierge conversation. Used only to shape who SerenDipity introduces you to. Never shown to
any other member, and never quoted back to anyone.

The deepest layer (optional) — if you choose to open it, this may include
information about your sex life and other deeply personal history. This is
special category data under UK GDPR, and we process it only on the basis of the
explicit consent you give when you open that layer. It is used to store your own
private picture and to match you; it is never shown to any other member. You can delete the
entire layer at any time, and doing so removes everything derived from it. Without that consent,
we do not record such information at all.

Messages and voice notes — stored so your conversations work across devices.
Only the two people in a conversation can read it.

Verification — SerenDipity keeps only a "Verified" status. Identity documents
are not stored long-term.

Where it lives · 数据存在哪里
Data is stored with Supabase in Ireland (EEA). The UK treats the EEA as adequate for data
transfers. Private matching data is processed by an AI model running on SerenDipity's own
infrastructure — it is not sent to third-party AI providers, and never leaves the EEA/UK.

Your rights · 你的权利
Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, export, or erase your data. Deleting your account
(Profile → Leave SerenDipity) permanently erases your profile, Hidden Signals, journal, matches and
messages. For anything else, email

within 30 days.

The blocklist works both ways and takes effect immediately.
